Caitlin Craig specializes in the treatment of eating disorders. She is trained and experienced in evidence-based interventions with demonstrated efficacy in assisting individuals in living a more satisfying and engaged life.
She uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed treatment, Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Attachment theory to assist adults and adolescents dealing with a broad range of mental health concerns. Caitlin treats individuals who seek relief from all eating disorder presentations, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, trauma-related disorders, and transitional issues. She is also a registered yoga teacher trained in trauma-informed yoga, and when appropriate, will incorporate somatic and body-based experiences into her practice.
Caitlin earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University, and is a National Certified Counselor. She has worked in the treatment of eating disorders at the residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care.
Caitlin collaborates closely alongside other eating disorder specialists in Western North Carolina to ensure her clients have the necessary dietetic support as they move forward in recovery.
