…is a licensed clinical social worker who joined the CBT Center in 2013. Erin is the program director for the Behavioral Sleep Solutions program. She specializes in the use of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia to treat sleep disorders. She is also well-versed in the use of cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma.
Erin received her Master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. While at VCU, she tailored her studies to focus on providing care to those experiencing the effects of mental illness including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and trauma related disorders with an emphasis on the impact of spirituality on a person’s resiliency. Erin has experience working in a variety of settings including outpatient, community based, and residential treatment programs.
Erin uses cognitive-behavioral therapy along with a non-judgmental client centered approach that centers around empowerment, education, and support.
