Rose Neugroschel, LCSW
Rose is a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina and in the District of Columbia. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from James Madison University and a Master of Social Work Degree from the Catholic University of America.
Rose has worked in the mental health field for over 6 years in various settings including residential programs, an outpatient mental health clinic, the Intensive Care Unit evaluating patients for liver transplants, and in employee assistance. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based interventions to treat mood, anxiety and substance use disorders, solutions-focused therapy, motivational interviewing to assist clients who may struggle with addiction, and psychosomatic interventions with clients with a trauma history. Rose is passionate about helping clients with the cognitive-behavioral aspects of weight loss, and assisting these clients in finding alternative approaches to binge eating and other disordered eating habits, as well as helping adolescents and young adults navigate difficult life transitions. Rose takes a non-judgmental stance and aims to create a safe space for her clients using her genuineness and innate curiosity to hear her client’s stories.
In her free time, Rose likes to strength train and spends much of her time hiking or in the gym.
